Design
The kitchen had original cabinets, the slab under the floor was delaminating, and the electrical needed updates to satisfy the insurer.
This project rebuilt the kitchen, wet/dry bar, dining area, entry and study. It also replaced a delaminating concrete slab.
The island, pantry and stone were selected before construction.
Build
Demolition began in September 2024 and final photos were taken in May 2025. The slab replacement added time.
Enjoy
The oak island and honed stone set the tone. Panel-ready appliances keep the cabinet run clean. Replacing the slab fixed the problem at its source instead of covering it.
